Walking: Penguin Like

As I mentioned earlier this month I have a new FitBit thingy that records steps, miles and sleep (among other things if you want it to). Also this month I committed to walking the distance of Hadrians Wall, 85 miles.

I Can happily announce that I have smashed that target and am looking for my second.

I mention the Fitbit because at 70 miles I got an ‘award’ for walking the ‘penguin march’. This is the distance of the yearly trip emperor penguins make to their breeding grounds.

The next one is the distance of the London Underground – 250 miles. Should be fun.
