Chemotherapy 4

I am officially halfway through my 6 cycle course of chemotherapy. I have done pretty well and managed to live a virtually normal life adapted to tiredness and pacing.

Tomorrow I start on a new drug, Doxataxel. This one is given over a few hours via a drip and has a similar range of side effects. The new ones to watch out for are joint pain and heaviness and worst tiredness. I have save some simple sit down tasks and some recorded programmes to watch just in case.

I admit to being a bit nervous but will follow instructions; (taking the steroids pre chemo for a start) and try to not get frustrated with lack of energy.

I have a weeks meal prepared for the family and I have warned them it may be different this time.
